PREPARATION- To prepare the cod, just soak it in lukewarm or cold water for 60 minutes and cook. We've found that although great with only a 60 minute soak, some pieces may need a little more time to rehydrate completely. We recommend to rehydrate fillets until they look like store-bought pieces.

SHELF LIFE- You can expect 25+ years shelf life as long as the shrimp is sealed in the can - and probably as many as 30 to 40 since there is no water or oxygen in the can to spoil them!!! Once opened they will last: Upto 1 year in a Zip Lock bag with refrigeration once opened but not re-hydrated, Upto 60 days in a zip lock bag without refrigeration once opened, but not re-hydrated, Upto 5 days in the fridge once they are re-hydrated.
