SubstrateSource Natural Stone for Features

  • Lagoon Stone is a distinctive aquarium hardscape that brings a wealth of character, unlocking boundless aquascaping potential. This stone boasts a dark gray hue and is adorned with numerous jagged edges and recesses, making it the ideal choice for fashioning cave-like structures. It shines brilliantly when paired with an array of aquarium plants and other livestock options, and will instantly transform your project into a realistic and natural scenery.

  • Versatile Use - Great for creating miniature rock formations in your aquarium, terrarium, vivarium, reptile or amphibian enclosure, adding to indoor or outdoor plants, giving wargaming miniatures a natural and realistic scenery, or anything else where natural rock is desired.

  • Size - 5 Pounds contains stones 3-5" and is recommended for tanks up to 3 gallons. We advise 2 x Tank volume in gallons = Total amount of pounds required. Increase weight for larger tanks or for a more full appearance.

  • Natural Stone - You will receive stones similar to the image shown, however each piece will differ slightly due to natural rock varying in shape and size. Can be glued together to create cliffs, benches, walkways, or used as miniature boulders.

  • Safe for Aquariums - Inert and won't change water parameters, but stones require a thorough rinsing prior to use.

About SubstrateSource Natural Stone For

Lagoon Stone is an unique aquarium hardscape that offers lots of character for more aquascaping potential. This stone is dark grey in color and features numerous jagged edges and depressions, making Lagoon Stone the perfect choice for creating cave like structures. Since Lagoon Stone does have rough edges, we would not recommend using it with fragile finned fish, such as Betta Fish, or animals with sensitive skin, but instead, would look amazing paired with a variety of aquarium plants and other livestock choices. Lagoon Stone is multifaceted and can be used to create different layout styles with a bit of imagination and creativity!
