The GripGrab Ultralight Sleeveless Mesh Base Layer is your go-to option for hot summer cycling. The open-weave material allows your skin to breathe, while also moving perspiration away from your body to leave you feeling dry and comfortable. With minimal bulk and minimal seams, but maximum breathability - this is the base of great comfort and performance when you are working hard in the summer heat. It is also a great option to wear when riding indoors on your trainer or rollers or for spinning classes. What makes this thin cycling base layer stand out from the crowd is its Polygiene Anti-Odour treatment, reducing the build-up of odour and keeping you fresh. Polygiene prevents the growth of odour-causing at the source. To do this, Polygiene uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride). The treatment is applied at the finishing stages of textile production and field and lab tests show a high level of odour control beyond the usual lifespan of a garment. Polygiene silver salt technology is only active on the textiles itself. Polygiene is not nanosilver. This treatment is completely safe on your skin and doesn't wash out. Reduced growth of odour-causing can lead to less odour build-up and therefore reduce the washing frequency. Consequently, Polygiene treatment can increase the lifespan of a product and reduce washing frequency and therefore lead to less consumption of water and electricity.
