Includes 13-pc. star L-key wrenches: T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40, T45, T50; Gray star key holder
High Leverage – We designed the keys to be longer in the largest sizes to increase leverage where it matters
Precise Tip Geometry – The star-shaped ends have 6-lobes that are machined to precise tolerances for an exact, high-torque fit with Torx fasteners that resists camming out
Maximum Torque Strength – We make our L-keys with 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that's heat-treated to HRC 54-58 to produce tools that are hard, but not brittle; as a result, the maximum torque of the L-keys consistently exceeds the ASME standards for minimum torsion load and the ISO standards for minimum proof torque
Clear Markings – Tekton star L-Key sizes are marked both with a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking
Quick Access and Low-Profile Organization – We designed the holder to organize the L-keys facing forward so you can easily access each tool without having to move others out of the way; you can also face the L-keys to the side for a flat, low-profile organization solution
The Tekton 13-pc. Star L-Key Set includes the most common star key sizes from T6 to T50 stored in a durable holder with self-aligning key slots that allow keys to be removed and inserted without moving others out of the way. The L-keys are made with 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that's heat-treated to HRC 54-58 to produce tools that are hard, but not brittle. As a result, the maximum torque of the L-keys consistently exceeds the ASME standards for minimum torsion load and the ISO standards for minimum proof torque. The star-shaped ends have 6-lobes that are machined to precise tolerances for an exact, high-torque fit with Torx fasteners that resists camming out. The L-keys are coated with a durable manganese phosphate finish that’s resistant to corrosion. With the exception of the smallest sizes, L-key sizes are marked in two ways–both with a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking.
