Patented Interchangeable Head Design with C50 High Carbon Steel - 53-56 HRC - The Vario uses Helko Werk's patented axe design - a German engineered bolt-on fastening system that introduces incredible versatility and efficiency across the Vario product line. All Vario heads, handles, and fastening components are fully interchangeable and inter-compatible. The heads are assembled with bolts which are driven through the handle and secured by a butt-plate retainer cap.

The Vario 2000 Heavy Log Splitter is as powerful as they come. This heavy duty splitting axe is made for the most difficult jobs. The deep wedge combined with the punishing weight delivers a powerful striking force, capable of splitting tree trunks, large logs and rounds, and heavy firewood. This tool demands a degree of controlled strength from its operator, due to its size and weight. The Vario 2000 system is Helko Werk's patented axe design. All parts, heads, and handles are compatible with one another, and the screw system offers easy interchangeability. The head is assembled onto the handle with screws that are driven through the handle and are secured by a butt-plate retainer cap. The steel overstrike protector covers the assembly and offers protection to the handle. All parts are assembled with an allen wrench, which is supplied with each axe. The line includes 5 blades and 3 handle lengths, which will cover all needed applications and give you the unparalleled ability to combine the right tool for the task at hand.
