Color-Changing DI Resin: The DI resin uses positive Cations and negative Anions to reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to zero in the final stage of an RO/DI system. Our color-changing DI resin comes packed in clear plastic bags that are vacuum-sealed inside foil-lined Mylar bags to preserve quality for maximum freshness, ultimate effectiveness, and shelf life. 10-Inch Refillable Water Filter Cartridge: The 10" filter cartridge for the DI resin fits standard 10-inch cartridge housings. The cartridge cap unscrews to allow for refilling with the media. It’s an environmentally friendly alternative as this refill water filter cartridge is reusable. Its opaque housing allows for easy detection to know when it’s time to replace the resin. The refillable cartridge comes pre-filled with resin ready for its first use. The AquaticLife refillable water filter cartridge fits popular RO/DI systems and the Aquatic Life Spot Free Car Rinse. It’s also compatible with Captive Purity, Kent Marine, Seachem, Coralife, BRS, and most other residential or aquarium/hydro DI and RODI systems. Instructions for refilling: Unscrew the cartridge cap and remove the foam ring Dump out the exhausted resin Pour the new resin into the cartridge and pack it down Tapping the cartridge on a table will help settle the resin Continue to add resin until it levels with the top and you are satisfied that no more media will fit Replace the foam ring inside the screw cap and on the cap Replace the cartridge to the RO/DI system making sure the arrow on the cartridge points up.
