AquaticLife Nuclear Grade Color-Changing Mixed Bed Deionization (DI Resin) Deionization Resin (DI) is necessary to reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to zero in the final stage of an RO/DI unit. Our color-changing DI resin physically changes colors as it becomes exhausted, removing the guesswork from the consumption and knowing when it’s time to change it out. It’s more convenient for replacement. The mixed bed deionization resin uses Cation and Anion to remove TDS from water. Reduces Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) To Zero The deionizing resins reduce total dissolved solids to producing highly purified water on demand. The resin comes packed in clear plastic bags that are vacuum-sealed inside foil-lined Mylar bags to preserve quality, freshness, ultimate efficacy, and shelf life. The DI resin refill has been designed to be used with one of our refillable DI cartridges. Refilling cartridges is much more economical than throwing away exhausted cartridges and is recommended for hobbyists that require large quantities of purified water.
