About Bosch Professional PointTeQ HSS Twist Drill Bit
The HSS-PointTeQ Fast Steel Metal Drill offers high drilling speed due to the design of its tip with Bosch technology. Its Centering Tip (Split Point) does not pre-hole or initial punch allowing for quick and easy start to drill by preventing material deviations. With running fast drills the HSS-PointTeQ Drill generates less heat and consequently less wear which brings high throughput and higher number of drills to the end of its life compared to competitors. The Drill Bit has a high elasticity body that decreases the risk of breakage and has black oxide in its spiral making it easy to remove chips quickly. With exclusive Bosch technology the HSS-PointTeQ Drill Bit is manufactured with a forged body and machined tip providing high drilling output to the end of its life but at an affordable cost to the consumer. This drill is suitable for drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steel alloys, steel sheets, steel pipes, cast iron, pure steel, cast steel, bronze, brass, PVC, plastic and polyamide and suitable for use in drills, screws, column drills and countertop drills. The HSS-PointTeQ Metal Drill Bit features a complete portfolio with millimeters and inch measurements ranging from 1mm up to 20mm and 1/16" to 1/2". It features a cylindrical fit in the same diameter of the drill and between 10.5mm and 20mm and has a reduced snap/shank allowing use on drills and screwers with chuck up to 13mm. It is manufactured to standard DIN 338, is N type (spiral angle) and has a 135 degree tip.
