UrbanTrapeze 3.0 is a self-locking cable stop and adjuster that revolutionizes the sign hanging, construction and electrician industries with its built-in locking mechanism which automatically grips the steel cable to keep wire securely in place. This product eliminates the need for crimps, ferrules and swaging tools. Once attached to cable, installers can adjust the hanging height, or level a sign, with the quick and simple push of the clutch button. Pressing either clutch button releases the cable to freely move back and forth allowing for any necessary adjustments. The device can also be used to create an adjustable loop in steel cable. It’s the perfect hardware for installing aisle markers, navigational signs, lighting systems and HVAC ductwork from the ceiling in retail, manufacturing, conference and event environments. The UrbanTrapeze is compact, reusable and aesthetically pleasing design. Recommended safe working load with a static load that has a relatively constant position and magnitude over time is 250 pounds (113.4kg). For use with a dynamic load where the force may change over time – think of wind gusts, the safe working load is 170 pounds (77.1kg). Anodized aluminum construction provides protection against corrosion. Not recommended for exterior use. Use with 1/8 inch (3 millimeters) 7 x 7 uncoated galvanized steel aircraft cable.
