The Q-VAC is designed to pick up liquids in environments that require explosion proof equipment. The Q-VAC has no electrical parts and is air driven. The only threat of explosion comes from static electricity build up. The Q-VAC is design to eliminate the possibility of static electricity build up and discharge. The entire unit from floor tool to the hooded Venturi is grounded.
