POUR 10-11 PETRI DISHES (DISHES NOT INCLUDED): 220ml is enough nutrient agar to comfortably pour 10 to 11 petri dishes. You can pour fewer dishes if you would prefer the agar layer to be thicker and you might be able to pour more dishes if you are ok with a thin layer of agar or if you use smaller petri dishes.
