About RMS Olympic Model - Highly Detailed Replica

*See below for frequently asked questions* - RMS Olympic was a British ocean liner and the lead ship of the White Star Line's trio of Olympic-class liners. Unlike the other ships in the class, Olympic had a long career spanning 24 years from 1911 to 1935. This included service as a troopship during the First World War, which gained her the nickname "Old Reliable". Olympic was the largest ocean liner in the world for two periods during 1911–13, interrupted only by the brief tenure of the slightly larger Titanic (which had the same dimensions but higher gross tonnage owing to revised interior configurations), before she was then surpassed by SS Imperator. Olympic also retained the title of the largest British-built liner until RMS Queen Mary was launched in 1934, interrupted only by the short careers of her slightly larger sister ships. The Olympic was withdrawn from service and sold for FAQ: Q: Will it float in water? A: Yes but mine kinda tipped on it's side, you may want to weight the bottom by taping a quarter to it so it will float straight and true. That is what worked for me and it was easy. Q: Is this a toy? A: It wasn't originally designed as one, but so many customers buy this for their kids and love it. I have went back a few times and redesigned it to try to make it as strong as possible. As long as they aren't too rough with it, it should be okay for play. Q: Does this model break in half? A: No, but we are working on the idea of someday making a model that does. Q: Will the paint come off in water? A: This model is printed in multicolor plastic. This is not a painted model. Q: Is this the coolest thing of all time? A: Yes. Without a doubt, this is the coolest thing of all time.
