I remember I was in there organizing and saw an old pair of light-up shoes that my youngest had outgrown. As I was putting them in a pile to donate, I had an ah-ha moment! I knew kids love to skate, and my child was obsessed with these LED shoes, so what if I did a mash-up and created Illuminating Roller Blades!? I pitched the idea to my husband and kids. They were more excited than I was! We didn’t just want to create a pair of skates that looked cool; they had to be super high-quality. It took a few months and a lot of feedback from our kids and their friends. We told them to be brutally honest with us. How’s the support and comfort level?
