Flexible Steel Vinyl Magnetically-Receptive Sheets are impregnated with iron particles to allow magnets to stick to them. This is not actual steel. It is a magnetically receptive vinyl sheet product. Magnets will stick to it.

Magnetically receptive sheeting with adhesive is not a magnet, but magnets are strongly attracted to it, similar to an actual steel sheet. Magnets stick in any orientation... there are no polarity issues like you can get when using magnet-sheet to magnet-sheet.

About Flexible Steel Vinyl Magnetically-Receptive Sheet
This is a plain 8.5x11 inch sheet of magnetically-receptive vinyl. This sheet is not magnetic, but magnets will stick to it. It has a peel-and-stick backing and can be cut with scissors, or a hobby knife. Sheet thickness is 0.025 inch.. One side has a peel-n-stick backing, the other side will stick to magnetic surfaces.
