Social Inferences Fun Deck with Super Duper Secret Decoder has 63 social story cards to help children improve their inference-making skills. Children listen to/read the stories and choose the answer that represents a logical inference. There are three social skills sections. -Section I – (cards #1–21) asks children to make an inference about the character’s personality based on his/her behavior in the scene. -Section II – (cards #22–43) asks children to infer how the character in the scene is feeling. -Section III – (cards #44–63) asks children to identify the appropriate/inappropriate behavior the character is displaying in the scene. Also, children increase their vocabulary by looking at the description of the words in context. Cards measure 4" x 6" and are stored in a sturdy box. Children can self-check their answers with the Super Duper Secret Decoder. Just hold the decoder over the answer choices to reveal the correct answer highlighted with invisible ink! How to use your Super Duper Secret Decoder: Turn on the decoder light by pressing the soft silicone button on the top of the decoder. Pressing the button a second time turns the decoder off. The Super Duper Secret Decoder is powered by rechargeable, nonreplaceable batteries. To charge the decoder, plug the micro-USB end of the included cable into the side port of the decoder, and the USB end of the cable into a power source (such as a computer or battery pack).
