Star Realms is a spaceship combat deckbuilding game designed by Magic Pro Tour Champions and Hall of Famers Darwin Kastle and Rob Dougherty (developer and cofounder of the Ascension Deckbuilding Game). The game offers all the thrills of traditional trading card game style combat, combined with the fun of a deckbuilding game. Play powerful ships, destroy enemy bases or blast your opponent directly on your way to victory! The two player Core Set is all you need to start your galactic adventure. It contains a rule book together with 128 beautifully illustrated cards (80 trade deck cards, 10 Explorer ships, two 10 card decks for each player to start, and 18 double-sided score cards) in a compact cardboard box. Colony Wars is a stand-alone expansion for the hit Star Realms deckbuilding game. The newly-discovered outer worlds, with their rich, untapped resources, are tempting targets for those seeking to expand their power. Now, the scramble for control of these unclaimed territories begins. Designed by Hall of Famers Rob Dougherty and Darwin Kastle, Colony Wars can be played as a stand-alone 2 player game or combined with the original Star Realms Deckbuilding Game to support an additional 1-2 players. This box contains a complete 2 player game with rules and 128 cards, including an all new 80 card track deck. Powerful new warp gate technology has opened up a distant frontier, ripe for conquest. Establish your Star Realm with powerful new ships and bases! This box contains a complete game for 1-4 players with rules and 152 cards, including an all-new 80-card trade deck and 8 oversized solo/co-op challenge cards. To expand for more players, simply add Star Realms Deckbuilding Game or Star Realms Colony Wars for 1-2 additional players.
