The Ohaus Measurement Skills Assessment Review Kit is a game used to teach math and science measurement to students in grades 3 to 5, and comes with 750 standards-based cards, 12 game boards, game tokens, dice, a CD-ROM with 750 questions, and a planning and resource guide for teachers. A measurement game is used by students and teachers in classroom and homeschool settings for educational and research applications in science and math disciplines. Learning topics include measurement estimations, volume measurement, mass comparison, geometry and measurement, units of weight, and comparative weight analysis. Differentiated instruction capabilities accommodate visual, tactile, oral, and aural learning styles. The game has additional introductory questions for students in grade two and accelerated questions for students in grade six. It is also used for Title I and special needs students. The materials support up to 36 students simultaneously. It comes with 750 standards-based question cards to broaden mathematical and scientific skills knowledge and improve test scores. Twelve game boards and materials provide simultaneous learning in review sessions that range from five to 30 minutes. The game comes with a CD-ROM for presenting concepts that includes 750 interactive assessment questions. The Math and Science Measurement and Skills Assessment Review Kit can be used as a stand-alone game or in conjunction with the Harvard Junior Mechanical Balance (sold separately).
