About Fapeto More Than A Simple Name Drawstring Bag And
GreenBrier Games brings us -Folklore- touted as a dark fantasy, GM-less roleplaying board game. The setting is in a mythical 15th or 16th century, European world which is filled with plenty of creepy old world monsters and villains which complicate the lives of the heroes. Folklore is all about diving into the action. It requires no dungeon master and allows everyone in the group to adopt the role of gritty hero fighting off the tides of madness. You choose one of several archetypes and fill out a small character sheet. Play consists of tackling stories. Think of a story as a scripted RPG module (comparable to a group choose-your-own adventure). You will be presented with decision points along the course of the adventure that shift the narrative and take you down alternate paths. The game itself contains stories which are broken into chapters and the players will have goals they look to achieve during each in order to progress to the next.
