About BMC CTS WW2 German Tiger I Tank - Gray 1:38 Plastic

From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, a tank feared by the Allies on all fronts. This WW2 Tiger I TANK features lots of authentic detail and 3 man crew. The turret rotates and has elevating barrel with printed bar cross insignia. Tank is made from stiff charcoal-gray color ABS plastic, measures 3.75 inches wide x 2.9 inches tall x 6.25 inches long (8.75 including barrel) and is approximately 1:38 scale. The tank commander 'half' figure is removable so hatch can be closed. Figures are made from charcoal-gray soft plastic. This tank is also known as Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausführung H, PzKpfw VI Ausf. H, PzKpfw VI Ausf. E, and official designation is Sd.Kfz. 182 or Sd.Kfz. 181. Approximately 1,300 were produced from 1942 to 1944. It was deployed in the North African Campaign and on the Eastern and Western fronts of the the European theater. These tanks were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 1997. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s. These vehicles are a perfect addition for playsets and school project dioramas of many historical conflicts of the 20th century including World War II and the Korean War. Packaged in plain white box with label and recommended for ages 5 and up.
