About BMC CTS WW2 German Panther V Tank - Gray 1:38

From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, the most widely deployed tank of the German Army. This WW2 PANTHER V TANK features lots of authentic detail 3 man crew. The turret rotates and has elevating barrel with printed bar cross insignia and LMG mounted on top. Tank is made from stiff charcoal-gray color ABS plastic, measures 3.45 inches wide x 3.1 inches tall x 7.1 inches long (9 including long barrel) and is approximately 1:38 scale. The tank commander 'half' figure is removable so hatch can be closed. Figures and LMG are made from charcoal-gray soft plastic. This tank is also known as Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, Pz.Kpfw. V, Mark V, and official designation is Sd.Kfz. 171. Approximately 6,000 were produced from 1943 to 1945. It was deployed on the Eastern and Western fronts of the the European theater. These tanks were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 2000. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s. These vehicles are a perfect addition for WWII playsets and school project dioramas. Packaged in plain white box with label and recommended for ages 5 and up.
