About THE BASEMENT WATCHDOG Model BWSS100 1 HP 6,540 GPH
The Basement Watchdog 1 HP submersible sump pump features a powerful and energy efficient permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor providing 4,400 GPH output at 10 ft. lift (6,540 GPH at 0 ft. lift). The cast iron/stainless steel construction along with dual ball bearings and dual shaft seals protect the motor for years of service. The caged Dual Float Switch and Controller will automatically activate the pump when rising water lifts either float by 1/4 in. Once the float drops to the original position, the controller will keep the pump running for an additional 10 seconds to completely drain the sump pit. The protective float switch cage prevents debris or other wires from interfering with the floats. The vented and curved bottom prevents debris from building up under the primary float. The float switch is easy to install and can be adjusted to any level.
