Shinano's pneumatic tools is the smarter investment as it have fewer moving parts thus making it maintenance friendly, safer on operational, cheaper operational cost compared to electric tools which consumes higher energy when unstable current being used at variable speed. The Shinano SI-2501L/2501 are equipped with powerful pneumatic motor for heavy duty grinding. The L suffix on each model number means optionally equipped with safety lever. Be advised that, if you have a light air compressor of 50% duty cycle, your motor can perform safely but you may overheat your compressor. Hence, a 5 hp compressor with a 100% duty cycle is going to make more air than a 7.5 hp compressor that only has a 75% duty cycle.
