Product Description Collets are used to hold the accessory bit into the rotary tool. These collets are engineered to give the correct fit with the locking nut. For flexible shaft attachments 225 and 90199. From the Manufacturer 3/32-inch collet for models 245, 250, series 3 and later; 260, 270, 280, series 2 and later; 275, 285, 370, 380, 395, 595, 850, 750, 232, 332, 241, 246, 277 and 8504; no. 225 and 90199 flex shaft attachments, and handpiece 235 and 237. Collets work with the collet nut (threaded) as a means of holding the accessory in the end of the tool.
