For Makita 18V LXT batteries, The DC18RE will charge a 2. 0Ah battery in only 25 minutes, a 3. 0Ah battery in only 30 minutes, a 4. 0Ah battery in only 40 minutes, a 5. 0Ah in only 45 minutes, and a 6. 0Ah battery in only 55 minutes. For 12V max CXT slide-style batteries, The DC18RE will charge a 2. 0Ah battery in only 30 minutes and a 4. 0Ah battery in only 60 minutes. The DC18RE is a sequential charger and will charge one battery at a time.
