About Frame Lock Security Hanging Kits With T-Head Screws
Security Hanging Kits are the perfect choice of hangers to protect your art from theft, earthquake damage, or falling. This works by locking the frame in place using a T-head screw and special wrench. It’s safe from theft because you can only lock and disengage the T-head screw from the frame using that special wrench. Its anti-theft feature makes it ideal for commercial use. These artwork security hardware are popular in art galleries, museums, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc. Security Hanging Kits are the best option for frames up to 24” wide, and one kit can support up to 15 lbs. Inside the kit, there are three mounting plates, two wall brackets, all the screws needed, an anchor, the T-head screw and a wrench. The mounting plates are attached to the back of the frame. The brackets, anchor and T-head screw should be installed on the wall. Lastly, the wrench is for engaging and disengaging the T-head security screw once the frame is hung. A basic instruction sheet is included with each shipment of Lock-In Hangers. The first installation might be a bit challenging, but once the sequence is understood, hanging will be faster and easier.
