The JAWS Small supports 1-1/2″ (40 mm) wide screed – aluminum, magnesium, or wood 2x4. Minimum height using a wood 2x4 from the bottom of the JAWS Small chair to the finished elevation of concrete is 5-1/4” (133 mm).

The “fins” inside the screed chair hugs rebar, threaded rod, conduit, metal stakes, or PVC pipe from 3/8" (10mm) to 5/8" (16mm.) The JAWS Small holds up to 1,000 lbs making it the most versatile screed support available.

About MAKO Jaws Small Concrete Screed Support Chairs, 100
The patented, non-metallic JAWS Concrete Screed Chairs are designed for a variety of screed rail sizes from 1/2″ (12 mm) to 1-1/2” (40 mm) and everything in between. The JAWS small yokes fits mounting structures from 3/8″ (10mm) to 5/8″ (16 mm). The “fins” inside the barrel hug the mounting structure so it will not bounce off during placement. JAWS is made of impact resistant material and is virtually unbreakable. It can be setup a in various configurations using the FinStand and Base Plate and works on several different applications. Use the MAKO Driver with the JAWS Screed Chairs to provide accurate setup every time. DOT approved. Made in the USA
