Kapro - 920 Shark Mason’s Level - With Plumb Site Features

  • MASON LEVEL - The Kapro 920 Shark is the ultimate mason’s level with its modern trapezoid cast Aluminum profile, tough Rubber Anvils, Milled surface, and Plumb Site Dual View vials. The finely milled base ensures that this mason’s level improves the accuracy of leveling especially when doing tile work by keeping the level directly against the measuring surface.

  • ACCURATE - The Kapro 920 Shark features 2 solid acrylic vials – one horizontal and one vertical - that are hand calibrated to < 0.0005 in/in (0.5 mm/m). The Plumb Site Vial provides a direct view of the vertical vial without the need to twist or bend your neck for side viewing for easy and accurate readings every time.

  • DURABLE - Mason’s levels must be tough – hammered and dropped, the level has to maintain its accuracy in the toughest working conditions. The Kapro 920 Shark is innovatively designed with a heavy duty cast trapezoid profile and two shock absorbing rubber anvils for hard and repeated trowel and mallet taps.

  • MULTI-PURPOSE - This mason level is applicable for tiling, masonry, and construction projects.

  • KAPRO - We reimagine precision tools and accessories for professional craftsmen to weekend warriors while setting high standards by driving innovation in our designs.

About Kapro - 920 Shark Mason’s Level - With Plumb Site

The Kapro Shark 920 series mason's spirit level has solid acrylic vials—one level and one plumb—for determining horizontal and vertical plane with a VPA-certified sensitivity of 0.5mm/m (0.0005"/inch) for precise leveling. The vials are machined from an optical-grade acrylic block to provide clear readings and are shockproof to resist breakage. The level vial and the plumb vial with top-view sight (Dual-View Plumb Site) can be read from the side and the top. Two rubber strike pads on the top of the frame absorb shocks when setting tiles. The level has a solid, cast aluminum body for durability and corrosion resistance, a milled leveling surface for accuracy, and a tapered design for use in tight spaces. Sensitivity rating is Versuchs und Prüfanstalt Remscheid (VPA) certified according to Geprüfte Sicherheit (GS) standards. The level is available in 24" and 32" lengths. Levels are used in the building trades, engineering, surveying, and metalworking, among other applications. Levels are instruments that are used to determine the true horizontal or vertical plane of a surface. The most common type of level is the spirit level, or bubble level. Spirit levels have a liquid-filled, bowed tube (also called a vial) with a bubble that moves when slight adjustments are made to the level. When the bubble settles between marked points on the vial, it indicates that a surface is horizontally or vertically straight. Levels can have one or more vials to determine the horizontal plane, the vertical plane, or various points between, such as a 45-degree angle, simultaneously. Some levels include a laser line indicator that projects a horizontal or vertical beam on a surface. Bullseye levels, or surface levels, are circular, flat-bottomed spirit levels that determine whether a surface plane is level. Machinists’ levels are made of metal and have surfaces designed specifically for rugged use in a machine shop or tool room. Levels can range from highly-complex and accurate machines, such as those used in the surveying and construction industry, to precision instruments used in carpentry and other building trades, to simple, pocket-sized devices for do-it-yourself projects. Kapro manufactures spirit levels, laser levels, layout tools, and measuring tools. The company, founded in Israel in 1974, meets International Organization of Standardization (ISO) standards 9001, 14001, and SA8000.
