The blade is made of high-quality, Japanese grade carbon tool steel and is designed for unparalleled sharpness and superior edge retention. The OLFA sk-10 is versatile and features a 5/32 inch (4mm) throat Inlet to cut through a variety of materials such as shrink wrap, polypropylene strapping, plastic sheeting, bubble wrap, leather, nylon, bags, and more. This safety knife also features a stainless steel tape slitter for box tape slitting, an Acetone resistant material for easy cleaning and fits both right- and left-handed users with no blade adjustment necessary.
