Be prepared for most any prep task in the kitchen with a uniquely designed 3-piece knife set that includes a 7-inch hollow ground santoku, a 5-1/4-inch utility knife, and a 3-1/2-inch paring knife. Global knives are distinct in design and therefore function. Forged in Japan from CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, Global knives have a smooth contour and seamless construction. The lightweight knives reduce hand fatigue associated with repeated chopping and mincing, and handles are dimpled to provide a non-slip grip. Global uses a hollow handle filled with sand to create balance. Their thin and razor sharp blades allow cooks to cleanly slice through foods, preserving the integrity of the ingredient and maximizing its flavor. Blended from 18 percent chromium for good stain resistance, plus molybdenum and vanadium for excellent edge retention, Global knives are designed for long-term use. They are face-ground with a long taper, so edges remain sharp longer. As with all fine cutlery, hand washing is best for care.
