FROM THE MANUFACTURER The CRACKMON® XL 15040A Industrial Crack Monitor, Fissure and Expansion-Joint Caliper Gauge is a large-format differential-displacement scientific instrument for wide cracks, fissures, and expansion joints in structures and geological formations. A -55 to +105-mm measurement range with a unique dual scale supports peak-to-peak differential crack displacement up to 160-mm on the X (horizontal) axis and 40-mm on the Y (vertical) axis. This is 4X the measurement range of classic crack monitors. Modular design supports optional corner-mount adapters for inside and outside corners, including ceilings, floors, slabs, steps and walls.
