About Kinex 4001-03-100 Machinist Knife Edge Solid
This precision machinist square is made by Kinex Measuring who has been in the business of making quality and accurate measuring tool since 1906. This square is perfect for the professional machinist, meticulous wood worker, or the DIY perfectionist. It is ground from a solid blank of 6 mm (.240 inch) thick tool steel, so will never go out of square. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. There is a groove milled in the inner corner to provide clearance for burrs and debris. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/00 standards and guaranteed square to within 3 microns or 0.0001 inches (that’s one ten-thousandths of an inch). Comes in a padded box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
