Rubber-Cal’s “Coin-Grip Commercial” rubber stair treads are designed to prevent accidents and promote safety on public stairways. Made from eco-friendly and durable reclaimed rubber, these step covers have excellent abrasion resistance and outdoor capabilities to perform well on any commercial staircase. Reclaimed rubber has excellent resistances to UV, ozone, and weather, making these non-skid stair treads ideal for external staircases. The moisture-resistant rubber is impervious to harmful organic byproducts so these outside stair treads can be used year-round with little maintenance necessary. The key feature of these safety stair treads is their unique “Coin-Grip” patterned surface, comprised of small stud-like protrusions. This design enhances traction while giving the stair treads a sleek modern aesthetic. The “Coin-Grip” pattern offers a raised walking surface to maintain traction even in the presence of dampness. The stair mats have a 6-6.5mm gauge, increasing in thickness at the nose to provide extra comfort and slip-resistance. Even stairways that see constant foot-traffic will find it difficult to wear down the 6mm thick reclaimed rubber. These eco-friendly anti-slip treads are also wider than typical tread mats—available in two different sizes to cover the large surface area of commercial steps. Both sizes feature a 1.6-inch lip, which hugs around the edge of the step for maximum coverage. This both secures placement of the mat and prevents feet from slipping off of the edge.
