Crisp Film is a modified high amylose corn starch, which forms clear, flexible films without requiring hydration or cooking. Products thickened with Crisp Film dry into a crispy glass at room temperature. It forms clear, flexible films with excellent sheen that are fast-drying and flavor-free. It acts as a protective barrier when used as a coating for fried foods. Crisp Film may be used to impart internal bonding strength and texture to formed potato, meat, and vegetable products. It can also be used to form fruit leather. Recommended usage ratio is 2.5% by weight. This product is certified Kosher (Pareve) by the Orthodox Union
