About Get Hung Surfboard Racks 17" FUNSHAPE
Our board hangers come in two basic models, vertical (wall mount) and horizontal (ceiling mount). Vertical mounted hangers are typically used for surfboards. They come in 2 sizes to accommodate short boards (14") or round nose/fish (17") boards/skim boards and long boards. In locations with ceiling height limitations, long boards and short boards can also be hung using our horizontal version. When trying to determine what size vertical hanger you need, measure the width of the board 8″-10″ from the nose. The horizontal hanger is primarily used for stand up paddleboards and long boards because of their size. Our large horizontal hangers use durable and long-lasting urethane guide wheels for quick and easy mount and dismount of large paddleboards. The horizontal hanger size should be the width of the widest part of the board. The Ape Hanger also works with any board that has tapered rails and rocker. (Surf, SUP, Skim, and Wake Skate)
