Nikon Z 50 user guide. Nikon's first DX format mirrorless camera. The Nikon Z 50 is a mirrorless camera with a 20 MP, APS-C format (DX) digital sensor. It takes both still photos and movies. In the Z's user-interface, you can set myriad things. Many are menu items that you can access by pressing the MENU button on the back of the camera. Others are customization, such as the customization of some menu contents, or some buttons and dials. There are so many things, and it is a formidable task to learn them — and find them in a hurry. To alleviate the pain, there are two places where you can put your frequently used items for easy access: the "i menu" and "My Menu". When you are ready to shoot, you may not have time to check if all settings are correct. For this reason, there are 2 User Settings (U1, U2) to save your settings for a quick recall. We will explain all these, but first, you need to know some fundamental controls about this camera. This book will teach you how to use this digital camera in an easy-to-follow, logical way. You do not need a 400-page book to learn how to use the Z 50 effectively.
