About Bucket Of Wild Photos: Slab City

The wildlife is from my Bucket of Photos. It is an animal drinker outside of Slab City, CA near the Chocolate Mountains. This area is an island isolation of harsh factors including sea level alkaline soil, vast distances that brought the American pioneers to their knees. and summer temperatures that make Death Valley laughable. The animals and non-migratory birds have evolved into the hardiest, most robust, and largest species on the planet. They have no human contact except me; hence the psychological quirk of standing and staring at the camera that looks like an owl. Like me. Astonishingly, improbably beautiful. Laurel Kenner By sidestepping an observer effect the Bucket gives us a rare glimpse into a world both untouched and now, finally, seen. Rip Mackenzie We love animals for their instincts that humans lost so long ago. The photo bucket reflects this. Serge Fournier The author created an oasis in a corner of the Sonora. His visitors include hawks, frogs, deer, burros, and a host of other animals that might otherwise not have made it. Peter Gorman A game camera dressed like an owl captures exclusive insider views. Excitement. Drama. Survival. I enjoy the photos you would never see otherwise. Jara Sunshine Absolutely! Beautiful photos! Alan Shoemaker Each virtual visit to Bo's water bucket is an experience in delight for me. Stacey Bourdeau The photos depict the spectrum of animal life and behaviors night and day. Delightful and educational! Pamela Lynn Palmer Come see the world through the eyes in the Bucket! Norm McNutt
