All photographs are taken on the northern prairie, including many from the author s summer tour of 115 towns in western Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. About the Author Eric Bergeson has spent his entire life as a part of Bergeson Nursery, a business started by his grandfather Melvin Bergeson near Fertile, Minnesota in 1936. Eric owned Bergeson Nursery for seventeen years. Over the past twenty years, Eric has spoken to hundreds of groups about the joys and challenges of gardening on the northern prairie. His book Successful Gardening on the Northern Prairie has sold over 15,000 copies. Let's Grow is Eric's eighth book, and his second about landscaping and gardening.
