About Modeling INS/GPS/Star-Tracker In 6 DoF: Simulating

Treat yourself to a book that combines theory with application. The operational equations of INS/GPS and star-trackers are derived and embedded into a three-stage solid rocket booster. Instead of hardware, you use a high fidelity simulation in C++, which launches the rocket that places a payload into low orbit. This six degrees-of-freedom simulation uses the CADAC++ framework and can be obtained, free of charge, following the instruction in the book. The author participated in the early applications of INS/GPS to U.S. Air Force systems, and taught courses at the University of Florida, while developing computer simulations first in Fortran and then in C++. He is the founder of Modeling and Simulation Technologies, teaching the use of aerospace simulations.
