About Rainy Day Sewing: 18 Sewing Projects To Brighten

Product Description Sew. Stitch. Create. Within this book you’ll find 18 sewing projects that are sure to brighten a rainy day—or any day! Using easy to follow illustrations and step-by-step instructions, learn fun techniques that will make your sewing projects unique and charming. Amy Sinibaldi, author of Sweetly Stitched Handmades, and Kristyne Czepuryk, author of S is for Stitch and Perfectly Pretty Patchwork, have paired up to offer a delightful selection of well-designed projects you’ll love sewing for yourself and loved ones. All the inspiration and how-to are right here in these pages. A variety of projects (including a fruit-motif lap quilt, cat and mouse softie dolls, a charming cross-stitch, and artist’s tote) present every sewist with the chance to do what one must—sew, stitch, create! About the Author Amy Sinibaldi has four children, a husband, two cats and lives in Williamsburg, Virginia. Amy has been sewing since 2006 and was self-taught. She is author of the book, Sweetly Stitched Handmades and is a fabric designer with Art Gallery Fabrics. You can find Amy’s sewing and stitching patterns at her Etsy shop: nanaCompany. Find out more about her creative journey, current projects, and fabric collections at her blog: nanaCompany.typepad.com. Find her on Instagram at: @amysinibaldi. Visit her Facebook page: nanaCompanyblog. She has recently returned to school to complete an RN program but continues to sew and design. Kristyne Czepuryk has two daughters, a husband, a full-time job as a technical writer, and lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Kristyne learned how to sew at an early age from her mother and aunt. Although she’s always been a maker, learning how to quilt at 19 solidified her love of creating pretty things with fabric. She is the author of an embroidery book S is for Stitch and a quilting/sewing book Perfectly Pretty Patchwork. She designs fabric, and sells her patterns in her online shop: prettybyhand. She used to blog, but you can find her most often now on Instagram @prettybyhand. She recently earned a graphic design certificate after 4 years of night classes. And although her day job and family keep her busy, she still dedicates all her spare time to her creative pursuits.
