She camouflages sunshine, has serendipitous family secrets, generational dysfunction,and lies. She suffers betrayal, jealousy, abandonment, incest, rape, and hatred. All of which work to destroy the Rose's soil and soul.What does it take to come out of the darkness from all of these traumas? Traumas that are intensified by adding to them drugs, abuse, greed, and alcohol, increasing the damage to these already destructive behaviors? Ballalaine spent over 16 years in church and in ministry including: children's ministry, deliverance, intercession, evangelism and outreach. She spent time in various denominations: Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Non-Denominational, and in diverse cultures. She's seen it all. Despite her difficulties, Ballalaine has accepted that although pain is inevitable, we must learn to smell the roses and pick the flowers instead of the weeds. In this memoir, she's collected a slice of her life's tales to help others navigate and administer self deliverance. She teaches us to pray until something happens using her own prayers.
