After obtaining a degree in International Relations, she moved to Europe, where she has worked for international organisations acting in the areas of climate change, health and education. When not writing, Jeanne loves reading stories about adventurous girls, walking in the countryside and traveling. Sometimes she can be found in her partner's laboratory trying to communicate with robots, though, unfortunately, none of them is as smart as Aizek. Mia Marcotte and the Robot is her debut chapter book. Saliha Çalişkan is a Turkish illustrator, with a degree in English Language and Literature.
