About Are You A Good Egg?: An Uplifting Story About

Product Description What Makes Someone Good?Sometimes you feel happy and thankful and glad.Other times you feel angry and lonely and sad. It can be confusing to feel so much each day. “Are You A Good Egg?” explains that different feelings are normal, and even though moods are ever-changing, people are good because they have a good heart. And that doesn’t change. Featuring whimsical and original illustrations with fun rhyming verse,“Are You A Good Egg?” inspires valuable self-esteem conversations. If you enjoyed “Today I Feel Silly,” “Why Do You Love Me?” and “The Feelings Book,” you'll appreciate this uplifting story by bestselling author and illustrator, Peter Deuschle. Recommended by parents, teachers and mental health professionals, “Are You A Good Egg?” is a wonderful addition to any library. This book is ideal for children with autism. Review All Children Need This Message. " This is a great book for kids, I love that it explicitly states that all feelings and moods are inherently normal. The illustrations are engaging and adorable. I have Aspergers and several of my children are not neurotypical as well. I think people who have BIG feelings tend to struggle with shame, no matter how careful one is to avoid judging statements. Its also difficult to believe your parents' positive energy/beliefs about you because they "have to" love you, so its wonderful to have a book like this to add to our library. My 3 yo (who has screamed at me that he hates being himself b/c of his anger) lit up when we read this together. He got the message loud and clear. He put it carefully away (unusual!) and exclaimed its his favorite book. I wish my parents had had this book to read to me. " -Flyalien Normalizes Feelings! " This book allows children to explore an array of feelings without placing judgment on a particular emotion. It teaches children that experiencing a particular feeling doesn't deem them a bad person. A quick and captivating book with fun pics."  -dmktherapy From the Author Thanks for sharing my story.
