Anderson has published articles in Fire Engineering magazine and In Attendance, The Magazine of the British Firefighter. He is licensed as a fire instructor, paramedic, and firefighter, and also serves as the Fire/EMS liaison to the William Lehman Injury Research Center at the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami.
