Review For me, travel, and knowledge of other countries is very important. Now, this book is way ahead of my 8 month old, but we already have a nice library going for him and I absolutely needed this in there. I think by the time he's able to understand this book we should be able to find some time to make that trip so that I can show him in person these amazing things he's read about in his book! This book series is really incredible. I've seen quite a few countries offered on here and I think it's a great way to get kids involved, not only in travel, but also in learning and history! It's especially exciting if they can come home and say this is the (insert monument) that's been there since (insert time) and I actually got to touch it and take pictures with it! Realistically I will probably buy them all just to help give him and idea of other countries and their cultures. I don't want him to be stuck in his American bubble. The book is really well done for kids... and honestly, for some slightly older folks. There isn't a huge market for tour guide books for kids and this one is absolutely amazing. it focuses on making tourism fun for kids, using pictures and stories. Plus I think kids feel like they are included in travel decisions more often when they have their own book of attractions that they may want to see! --Jacquelin Sainte, Oct 5 201
