About Goodnight Angel
Kathie Lee's new CD, "Goodnight,Angel" is a unique collection of original lullabies, carefully and lovingly designed for mothers and children to listen to together as the child falls asleep. The album begins with beautiful lullabies about sleep and love and comfort, and then, as the child gets sleepier, moves into an almost hypnotic group of songs designed to suggest to the child that the world is a safe place where his or her dreams can come true. And as the child falls asleep, the later songs quietly and sensitively deal with a mother's feelings for her child. Original lyrics were written by Kathie Lee with her particular sensibility for children and mothers, and the music, which is continuous and moves gracefully from one song to the next, was written by David Friedman.
