About Trouble
Steve was born in Kentucky, and lived on the East Coast of Florida for many years where he performed with some of the best. Big Bill Morganfield, Alto Reed, George Terry and Todd Taylor to name a few. Steve was a straight-ahead aggressive blues guitar player and a soulful singer. Known for his hard hitting Chicago/Texas style, Steve would occasionally pull out a dobra and do a set of his favorite delta songs if the mood hit and the crowd were right. All blues, all the time...except when Todd Taylor called and says bring a dobra and lets do some pickin'. Steve grew up in Eastern Kentucky listening to bluegrass his entire childhood. Steve said that bluegrass style dobro is what led him ultimately to the blues.
