Hugo Winterhalter was a mid-twentieth century American bandleader, composer, arranger, and conductor. Winterhalter began his career as a violinist and pianist before transitioning into arranging and conducting. Winterhalter collaborated with some of the most iconic artists of his time, including Elvis Presley, Dinah Shore and Frank Sinatra. His arrangements and orchestrations were truly sophisticated and unique. In addition to his work as a bandleader and arranger, Winterhalter also composed music for films and television.
