Product Description This CD is Eric Stone's best work to date. It combines tunes of Island getaways and reflections of life in Australia. If you surf, sail or scuba dive you will want to have a copy of this remarkably produced Indy CD. This is major label stuff. Its amazing that this guy hasn't been picked up by a big record company. Review When I first popped Eric's new CD into my cd player. It played continuously until I got home. Perfect! --Gary Haas. With 9 CD's to his credit and 2 more out this year. Over 250,000 in CD sales without a record deal!!! Performed in 4 continents and 10 countries. The Eric Stone Band was formed in 1999 in Nashville TN. Eric was a songwriter there for many high level publishing companies and record labels. In 2001 he formed his own label called Boatsongs Music. After the huge success of his first release “Songs For Sail” which has sold over 60,000 copies worldwide, undoubtedly one of the highest grossing Indy CD’s ever, he went on the road to promote his 2nd release, “The Legend Of The Lost Soul” which won several songwriting awards including Best Indy Release of 2003 by TMJ Magazine. That same year Eric added Steve and Shelly Hall to the lineup to complete the now infamous trio the Eric Stone Band affectionately known sometimes as Eric Stone & The Stoners. Steve plays scorching lead guitar and sings backup while Shelly rocks on her amazingly dynamic percussion set and sings 3rd part harmony. Their shows have been described as record perfect electrifying Island parties. Eric and Shelly have both been labeled as perfect pitch and are sometimes asked if they are lip syncing because the vocals are so “off the record” quality. Eric has performed for the past five years in Australia and was one of only 4 international artists invited to the prestigious Gympie Muster, down under. There he performed original tunes to over 50,000 Aussies and was view by the entire continent on TV. Most recently the band was invited to perform in the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific where many dignitaries, including the Mayor of VaVau’ was on hand to see the show. The Eric Stone Band travels the US in their custom 40 ft. MCI tour bus and they are sponsored by Latitudes & Attitudes Magazine and TV, Sunsail Yacht Charters BVI, The Moorings Yacht Charters Tonga, Scuba Radio, The World Of Boating Radio. They exclusively wear Rum Reggae Patik shirts on stage. Eric is also endorsed and only plays Guitar Factory Guitars.
