The LED Lighting Wick Strip is a double-sided 3 inch length 12 led flexible LED strip that can be cut to shorten the strip and reduce the light output. This is a basic component kit for theatrical prop masters and others skilled in the art of prop making. The LWS-CF (Lighting Wick Strip, Candle Flame) is a continuous light source with a non-flickering output suitable for theming prop applications needing a high 93 CRI nominal (Color Rendering Index) flame spectrum LED 1,775 Kelvin nominal light source. This kit contains a LWS-CF (Lighting Wick Strip, Candle Flame), a 9V battery clips, a 8 AA cell battery holder. Parts are made in China. The final assembly and outside clear UL VW1 rated protective cover are made and assembled onto the strip in the USA. A full-length strip has 12 LEDs (6 per side) and is 3 inches nominal in length, a strip cut to 2/3 length has 8 LEDs (4 per side) and is 2 inches nominal in length, and a strip cut to 1/3 length has 4 LEDs (2 per side) and is 1 inch nominal in length. 9 volt battery operating service hours for a full length 12 LED wick strip is 1 hour nominal to 60% of initial brightness. Using 8 AA batteries for 12 volts DC provides 4 operating service hours for a full length 12 LED wick strip to 60% nominal of initial brightness. Operating service life increases as strip is cut shorter. Compatible with low voltage DC DMX-512 decoders, low voltage DC PWM dimmers, flicker effects controls, and voltage dimming in the range of 6 volts DC to 12 volts DC.
