- Handle with holder is for holding graphite stirring rods, when melting metals by torch or gas, when casting or melting with electric furnaces and melters. No need to hold on to the stirring rod as it warms up and gets hotter with usage. Holder portion is designed at 60° Degree Angle allowing the user comfort and ease while mixing the hot molten metal. Holder is made of steel and comes with a wooden handle. The overall length of the holder is 16". Holder has a Capacity to hold from 5/16" to 1/2" rods. The stirring rods are easily tightened and held at the desired position and length with the thumbscrew.
